Epeda has been renowned for its unique qualities for over 90 years. Tailor-made sleep, hand-stitched comfort, state of the art technology and French production, since 1929, Epeda has the ways and means to lull people to sleep.
Each Epeda model is the result of an unchanging succession of techniques and professions. From the choice of materials to assembly, each step involves people and machines, craftsmanship and technical expertise. Therefore, 200 people work in our workshops in Criquebeuf-sur-Seine in Normandy and carry on the high standards that have always made Epeda’s great reputation. One thing is certain, the Art of Sleep has beautiful nights to come.

BEDDING SOLUTIONS
Since 2007, Epeda has committed to a responsible ecological transition. Here are all our commitments to limit the impact of our products on our resources.
To produce responsibly, our plant in Normandy was built in 2016 following the current thermic regulations rigorously.
At the same time, our brand also raises the consumers’ awareness to eco-friendly actions, adheres to the recycling branch Eco-mobilier (that retrieves second-hand materials) and also recycles 95 % of its waste to handle it. As for our textile waste, we turn all of it into felt for our bed bases during the production process.
RESPECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
The NF ENVIRONNEMENT® certificate® : It is the only recognized French eco-label, and it controls both the conformity of a product with the current regulations and its impact on the environment. To obtain this well-known certificate, many audits were led in our plant in Normandy and each of our products underwent laboratory tests to ensure its sustainability.
The PEFC certificate : It has an international recognition. The PEFC (Pan European Forest Certification) fosters sustainable forest management by considering its Corporate Social Responsibility. We always take accountability for our societal, economic and environmental impacts. With an audit from an independent certifying organism, the wood from Epeda bed bases follows the PEFC regulations thoroughly.
TAKING CARE OF BODIES
The OEKO-TEX® certification® : All of our ORIGINES mattresses are certified with the OEKO-TEX 100® standard. Completely independent, this international standard ensures global textile safety (clothing, bedding and furniture) and the users’ health. Thus, materials and components undergo a little more than 100 tests which are done with complete objectivity.
